Employers Preparing for Change
Education has been the best remedy for coping with the changing landscape of health care reform since the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act started taking effect, according to several area business people.
The legislation, which was signed in 2010, brings change in stages, with 2014 as a key year for some of the biggest. Along the way, however, the learning curve has been steep.

The law’s scope and staggered implementation have brought new tax, legal and health care mandates for businesses and individuals nationwide.
